My wife and I were visiting another family member in the uplands. On our way home we saw signs for the Woodhaven show home and decided to make a quick detour to take a look at the homes offered. The first 2 builders didn’t really fit our needs as we are a young family and their designs didn’t really seem as functional for a family like ours.
We went to the Blackstone show home last. We are promptly welcomed by Guneet and were invited in to take a look. From this first contact we never felt any pressure just a welcoming invite to explore the home. We absolutely fell in love with the home and design, but quickly came to the assumption that a home of this size and quality with the finishing we saw would likely exceed our budget by a few hundred thousand dollars.
After our walk through we reluctantly asked a few questions in regards to the home, finally landing on pricing. Guneet was very direct in providing the details we were looking for and listening to what we were looking for.
She was able to match us with a spec home that had just began foundation. When it came to pricing we were pleasantly surprised and how reasonable the home was priced for the product they were providing.
The thing that really helped sell us was many of the items we were mentioning we would consider normal upgrades were included as their standard options.
The few upgrades we did request to be completed included some larger requests (stone fire wall to roof, coffered ceilings, Wet bar extension). Jay the owner was very receptive to working with us on these items and making sure we were satisfied. By no means did we ever expect the owner of the homebuilding company to get as involved as he was willing to. They have really gone above and beyond.
Guneet has been very patient with us during the entire process and has had answers for all of the thousands of questions we have had. She truly is 1 text away.
Design center appointment with Priya was very enjoyable as well. Many of the small items we expected (from past building experience) would be upgrades turned out to be standard. We were able to build the exact home we wanted with minimal additional costs.
To this point we have been satisfied with the process and think the pricing has been very fair. We look forward to taking possession later on this year.

After half a decade of viewing show homes and talking to sales reps we finally walked into a Blackstone home and our mind was made. Workmanship and quality is what this builder delivers. Dealing with Guneet was terrific, she is patient (we changed plans at least five times) and extremely knowledgeable about every little detail which is very important in a forever home. My favourite part about dealing with Blackstone was the straight forward no surprise pricing. Guneet walked us through the show home, showed us what is standard and what the exact costs of the upgrades were. We are beyond excited to be building our forever home with Blackstone and would recommend them to every friend and family member. Blackstone knows how to take care of a customer and go over and above to ensure you are happy with your purchase. Even on our way out of the last meeting, Jesse a new team member showed us a new roof line that we loved! adding even more value and joy for us.

I never write reviews but I felt like I should give credit where credit is due. My wife and I purchased our first single family home with Blackstone Homes. After visiting several different custom builder show homes in a span of 6 months, we kept finding ourselves returning to Blackstone Homes. We kept returning because we were impressed with the quality, craftsmanship, customization capabilities and Guneet Pandher. Before choosing to work with Guneet, we visited her show home multiple times, and each time, we always felt welcomed. We are impressed of the customer service (response to emails/text messages) and how knowledgeable she is. Guneet was able to take our idea’s and made it possible. We bought a home from Blackstone in March of 2020 and specifically worked closely with Priya during the buying process and with Scott for home maintenance within the first year. Priya was very welcoming from the beginning; she made the buying process easy to navigate and was very excited for us. Scott is part of the service department team and has been very quick, diligent, and professional. He went above and beyond what was needed which gave us peace of mind. We would definitely recommend this builder not only for their beautiful homes, but for their excellent customer service after buying.
Our process started in mid October 2020 when my husband first took a look at a Blackstone show home, he was very impressed with the quality and the finishing of the home. We then made the decision to go ahead and both revisit the show home and timing was exceptional for us. Going forward with the decision to build with Blackstone we’ve been very pleased with how Guneet is guiding us through the process. She is a very knowledgeable, professional, detail oriented, amazing and caring young lady. The communication with her has been exceptional.
Building a custom home is very helpful especially when you have a disability and they are so accommodating with making the proper adjustments to the blue prints. We look forward to our journey building our first new home with Blackstone.
We had an amazing experience with Blackstone Homes since the first time we visited their show-homes. We were blown away with their home designs and community location, surrounded by nature and beautiful walk trails. I love the fact that they are very accommodating and able to alter our house layout/plans to fit our needs.
Guneet is wonderful to work with. She is very knowledgeable and very responsive to emails and texts while getting back to us quickly and genuinely to help with our concerns. Overall the process is going smoothly. We would highly recommend Blackstone Homes to anyone wanting a good quality experience.
